Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता मापदंड )-

The Candidate must be either a Citizen of India or a subject Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to any of the categories above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. (उम्मीदवार या तो भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए या एक विषय तिब्बती शरणार्थी होना चाहिए जो भारत में स्थायी रूप से बसने के इरादे से 1 जनवरी 1962 से पहले भारत आया हो या भारतीय मूल का व्यक्ति हो जो पाकिस्तान, बर्मा, श्रीलंका, पूर्वी अफ्रीकी से पलायन कर गया हो भारत में स्थायी रूप से बसने के इरादे से केन्या, युगांडा, संयुक्त गणराज्य तंजानिया, जाम्बिया, मलावी, ज़ैरे, इथियोपिया और वियतनाम के देश, बशर्ते कि उपरोक्त किसी भी श्रेणी से संबंधित उम्मीदवार एक व्यक्ति होगा जिसके पक्ष में प्रमाण पत्र भारत सरकार द्वारा पात्रता की अधिसूचना जारी की गई है। )

Required Qualification (आवश्यक योग्यता) –

Graduation in any Stream + Hindi Typing speed of 30 word per minute + English typing speed of 35 words per minute.

• Online Written Exam CBT Written Exam of 180 marks (ऑनलाइन लिखित परीक्षा)
• Typing Test of 20 marks (लेखन परीक्षण)

UPPCL Recruitment 2022 Examination Pattern | यूपीपीसीएल भर्ती 2022 परीक्षा पैटर्न

The written exam will test candidate’s knowledge in 4 areas –

General English (सामान्य अंग्रेजी)- 55 questions of 1 mark each

General Hindi (सामान्य हिंदी)- 55 questions of 1 mark each

General Awareness and General Knowledge (सामान्य जागरूकता और सामान्य ज्ञान)- 25 questions of 1 mark each

Reasoning (तार्किक ज्ञान)- 45 questions of 1 mark each

Thus the written exam in total will be of 180 marks with 180 questions, time allotted will be 3 Hours and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Age Limit

Age Bracket- 21 -40 years as on 01.01.2022

Relaxation is applicable-

OBC/ST/SC/ Freedom Fighter (residents of Uttar Pradesh)  – 5 years

Ex Serviceman (min. service of 5 years) – total years of service + 3 years

Physically disabled – 15 years
